As a longtime reporter and journalist, I've spent decades telling people's stories in newspapers and magazines. Over the years, I've been fortunate to work alongside phenomenal photographers whose stunning shots inspired me to pick up my own camera.

My primary goal: Creating heartfelt, genuine portraits that capture the essence of people. Although it's a different creative medium than writing, I want to capture moments, joy, and unique spirits all the same.

When I'm not snapping pics, I'm writing for magazines, working with elementary school children, playing with pups, or chauffering my teenagers to activities. I love shoes, hoops, and 1990s hip-hop. I always put my shopping cart back when I'm done using it, and I nerd out on historical houses. Beaches, lighthouses and waterfalls are my happy places.
